At LED Lighting SA, our automation team designs lighting control systems around how each space is used. From zoning and scene setting to occupancy sensing, daylight response, time schedules and central control, we turn project requirements into a clear, practical control strategy.

We develop system architecture, schematics, device schedules, control-panel requirements and connectivity information while coordinating luminaires, sensors, interfaces and compatible building systems. Our team works with consultants, electrical contractors, IT and facilities teams to align design and installation.

During commissioning, we address and configure devices, programme scenes and schedules, calibrate sensors and functionally test the system. We then provide handover documentation, user guidance and ongoing support so controls remain reliable and adaptable.

What does Automation Design & Commissioning include?

The service can include requirements review, a control narrative, zoning and scenes, system architecture, drawings and schedules, interface coordination, programming, testing, commissioning and handover documents.

Which lighting control functions can be included?

Options include switching, dimming, scenes, occupancy sensing, daylight response, schedules, manual or central control, monitoring and compatible system integration.

Which control protocols and systems can you work with?

We can design around DALI, relay or switched control, compatible dimming, sensors, gateways and BMS interfaces, subject to confirmed compatibility.

What information do you need to design the system?

Plans, luminaire schedules, room uses, zones and scenes, operating hours, sensor requirements, electrical layouts, existing controls, BMS or IT interfaces and project standards are helpful.

Do you provide automation drawings and schedules?

Yes. Deliverables may include schematics, zoning layouts, device schedules, panel or I/O requirements, wiring and connectivity information, a control narrative and commissioning records.

Who installs the automation equipment?

Installation is normally completed by a qualified electrical or controls contractor. Our team can coordinate and support the installation so it is ready for commissioning.

What happens during commissioning?

We verify devices, addressing and connectivity, complete configuration and programming, calibrate sensors, test scenes and schedules, check integrations and functionally verify the system.

Can scenes, schedules and sensors be adjusted after handover?

Yes. Settings can be fine-tuned during commissioning and adjusted later, subject to system access, platform capability and the agreed support scope.

Do you provide user training and ongoing support?

Yes. Depending on the project, we can provide user handover, operating guidance, configuration records, troubleshooting, optimisation and ongoing technical support.
